Making comparisons between this and Germany's Nazi past is interesting; wonder how many of those countries will be fighting against them in the future. Much as I hate to say it, with Syria, I think the older generation is going to win. They're going for the Chinese response to protests and I don't know how much longer they will be willing to endure this.

With the European meeting... yeah, they won't do anything but promise to do something in the future. Then in a month, you'll see that again, sort of when people promise to start a diet.

In Russia's case, it's possible that their war could end up being another civil war, though likely with some of their neighbors, probably their former satellites, involved.
