In Syria, I think the older generation is going to end up winning this conflict. Things could change, but that's what I've been seeing over the past few months. Assad's showing no signs of being willing to stand down and unless we intervene, he'll likely stay in power.
With North Korea, I'm nervous about what's going to happen. He certainly deserved to die, but who's going to take over now? They have millions of starving people, meaning that they have a powder keg, and I'm sure the leadership would rather unleash it on South Korea than have an internal uprising.
