I'm not surprised that the greek debt talks are collapsing. If I'm a investor, I stand to lose about 3/4s of my money I invested because of this deal, which is the last thing I want. However, if I have a Credit Default Swap, the better thing to do is simply to let them default and then cash in on the CDS. Since many investors have them, they may decide to make just that decision.
