Greece's economic report is no surprise. They're a basket case and everyone knows this. I pretty much expect them to officially default on March 20.

I notice Xi isn't saying much about the economic issues, or about the anti-China feelings rising in the United States. It's quite possible that someone else will supplant him as the next president, but I don't see that happening just yet. I'll be especially alarmed if that person was born around 1965 or so.

Assad's pretty much guaranteeing that they're going to have another civil war 25-30 years down the line. Even if the younger generation wins, which I don't think is going to happen, this is something that both sides will remember for a long time.
