Something else I've noticed about Pakistan is that the areas where the violence is at it's worst are the parts of the country that are majority Pashtun. Hell, many of the Taliban we're fighting now are from Pakistan, not Afghanistan.

Oh, yes, the French. I believe they were the ones who jumped first in the Libyan war, before the UN resolution had even passed. After they attacked, what else could the other European powers do but follow? I'm wondering if they're going to jump into the Syrian conflict in a similar fashion, forcing their allies to support them.
