Well, I'm most worried about China's economy slowing down. Not only is that going to put more strain on the world economy, but it'll help destabilize China. I know it's been said here that their "mass incidents" number around 100,000, but I've read articles that estimate that it's considerably higher than that.
With 16 million homes underwater, that means far more people are going to find themselves without a homeless. The only silver lining I can think of is that when all of this is over, houses will become more affordable. Some are cheering the fact that home prices rose slightly, but it makes sense that there would be some rallies, even though the overall trend is down.
