That was a pretty bitter posting you deleted, Higgie. I hope you're
doing OK. (PS: Thanks for thanking me)

I saw that you and Vince read it, and was mostly thinking about both of you when writing it. Of course, first to thank you for doing that transcription and then to let you know that my level of frustration is now similar to what you've expressed over the years - it just took awhile longer to get there. And then for Vince to know that in my opinion he did the right thing to get out of the US (or at the very least not the wrong thing) - I see this as totally hopeless. My view has changed a lot in the past year, and much of what I told Vince about a year ago in the postings no longer applies in my opinion.John wrote:That was a pretty bitter posting you deleted, Higgie. While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Are things really any better in Anguilla? I guess Vince would know, but
I've assumed that things are equally bad everywhere.
(As I recall, Vince wants to get out of Anguilla and get on one of those floating homes.)

I don't know if they'd be better now. Probably not. But I think the US is in for a huge shock and may go from being better than a place like Anguilla to actually being worse, whereas life in Anguilla might not change that much. It'd be interesting to see what Vince thinks about that.John wrote:Are things really any better in Anguilla? I guess Vince would know, but
