The news from Spain does not surprise me in the least. Their unemployment is what ours was in 1933, during the worst of the Great Depression. It MIGHT be possible to bail them out once, but if they continue along the same pattern, they will likely need more than one. Italy is close behind them and will likely require a bailout as well and after that, so goes the Eurozone.

With Russia, this behavior makes me wonder if we're going to end up at war with them after all. Their recent behavior towards NATO has been quite aggressive. Not as bad as China, but they're certainly up there. I wonder if there's a possibility of them siding with China, at least in the beginning.
