The election results in Egypt are of course being rigged. It's a worldwide problem, and the US is not exempt. Irregularities are being reported everywhere that would have resulted in governments toppling even a couple of decades ago. GenX just says "it proves they are all crooks, there's no point to voting" and moves on.

Election "news" is pretty ridiculous. I just twitted a co-worker who was swearing there were all kinds of major movements to restrict gun ownership in the USA. So I told him to send me a list of bills introduced to limit gun ownership in the last 20 years, and he swore to flood my inbox. He hasn't, and he won't, because it hasn't happened. Just an election year myth that pops up every year and gets taken to the stump. (Don't argue with me, post that huge list of something besides election year jawboning. And since people never talk about anyone restricting gun rights but the Federal govt, that's what we want to see.)
