This is absolutely fascinating to watch unfold!! My 9th grade World Studies students are equally fascinated and are actively watching the news, seeking out new information and coming to class asking what the latest updates are on Greece and the rest of the PIGS!!! Gotta love living through something this historic, even if it is with a certain morbid captivation.

And the DOW dropped about 100 points this morning following the announcement that the Greek bonds are "junk." This came as a surprise to them? Haven't they been following the story? If so, weren't they expecting this?

Or were they waiting for someone to pull a rabbit out of their hats?
