What interests me is the North Koreans not on the terrorist list? I listened to the first 2 segments of your interview you posted and noted your opinion that Mexico was on the verge of a civil war and that it might spill over into the SW US. I made a point to play it for my aunt who is visiting from El Paso and quite concerned with the problem being stirred up out there. Seem the press, which is geared to Mexicans is writing stories about how the SW US belongs to Mexico. Well, that would be plausible if it was ever really settled by Mexico, which it wasn't. Not much there but a few outposts left over from the Spanish claims. Anyhow, I had heard in the news that the drug cartels had lookouts inside the US and have seen the spots where the government has put signs, far inland in Arizona warning of banditos. These kind of match, as North Korea has been a sponsor of terrorism and the spread of weaponry worldwide and the US is being occupied by foreign belligerants and nothing is being done. Is the President of the US an idiot or just guilty of treason? It appears to me he is inviting trouble that will lead eventually to someting more severe. I would bet Ronald Reagan would have sent the Marines in and cleared this area that has been invaded by foreign criminals, yet we have a guy who merely posts signs and then fights the efforts of the state in which it is occuring to do something about it.

The fault line in Mexico is between the descendants of the indigenous
people (Aztecs, Mayans, Commancheros) and the market-dominant
descendants of the Spanish conquerors.

The violence in Mexico today is among competing drug cartels. What I
suspect the competing drug cartels align across ethnic lines, and it
would be an interesting piece of research to determine whether or not
that's true. If it is true, then we could better lay out the scenario
for how these drug cartel wars will morph into general civil war, and
how the southwest U.S. will be pulled in.
