One of those links says Arabs don't manufacture their own weapons. This is a very interesting point.

"... At the recent Arab summit, in Sirte, [Libya], the delegates said: 'We will fight [Israel].' They counted tanks, and concluded that [the Arabs] have more tanks than Israel does. They did the same with planes, and said: 'We have 3,000, while Israel has [only] 1,500, so we can defeat it.' Whoever talks this way is forgetting that Israel has 250 munitions factories, [whereas] the Arab states – which of them can manufacture [so much as] a bullet?

http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/4503.htm

So the Palestinians have some home made rockets (perhaps not counting as manufactured) and Pakistan has some A-bombs. But is it generally true that Arabs don't manufacture their own weapons?

Another point or two. In Israel everyone has bomb shelters and practice using them (in part because of the home made rockets coming in). Also, Israel has lots of A-bombs.

The GD clash of civilizations prediction: "The Clash of Civilizations world war will be fought between big powerful adversaries -- a new "axis" most likely consisting of China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea and their allies, versus America, India, Russia, Japan, and the UK and their allies."

It seems like Israel is about enough to take on the Arabs. China is working on some new missiles it might be able to neutralize America's aircraft carrier power.

If A-bombs start flying, which I assume would be part of a genocidal war, things will be very messy very fast. But as far as conventional weapons, China's side of the clash of civilizations war does not seem strong enough so far to be eager to start a major war. But after the US dollar falls to hyperinflation, the balance of economic power will shift substantially. Looking back it seems strange that Germany could take on all the enemies that it did in WW2 after being such a mess in 1923. In less than 15 years for China could be in a far stronger position to fight a war. It does look like China is building up. No doubt we live in interesting times.

"From Stratfor, a history U.S. Mexican relations" is historically inaccurate to say the least. Mexico didn't even exist at the time of the American Revolution, the Louisiana Purchase, the War of 1812, or the settlement of Texas. In fact the Republic of Texas would only be slightly younger than Mexico is today had it not democratically joined the United States of America. The issue was whether Great Britain or France would have Spain's colonies in North America or whether those territories would be republics; the issue was settled by the Monroe Doctrine, which is apparently not taught in American History classes in American schools or colleges anymore. Needless to say, this report also ignores small historical events like the Civil War, the Mexican Revolution, WWI, WWII and skips to a description of conditions as they presently exist. Basically it excludes the entire history of Mexico as a nation, discusses the conflict between state and federal governments and concludes that its an international issue between Mexico and the United States, when in fact the US Federal and Mexican Governments don't care much about it as long as it doesn't interrupt their gravy trains.
