The Irish bank deal is easy to understand, don't even have to look further. Favored people's money will be in the "good" bank, people with no influence will be allowed to lose money when the "bad" bank fails. Or they'll guarantee those debts in some manner, then pass them on to make it "look" like the debt is off the books.

It's a scam, in other words.

I was disappointed by the "Brits don't understand the Tea Party" link. I expected some analysis, with attention to British culture and assumptions. Instead, the article only offered one long complaint with nary a word about where the Brits were making their mistake.
