They're on this thread. See above for my wonderful ruleset I'm generating because of this thread. I did add some of my most despised monopolists/oligopolists as well.

This thread has it all, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, and other award-winning stuff.

So what diseases are the Ratts spreading? And how is Poison the cure? Pray tell!

In the 60s you had the beetles reproducing like crazy with lots of imitators thus creating a whole counter-culture and rock as we know it. Only one letter would need to be privoxied. Now you have ratts multiplying like crazy thanks to you tube and other social media, and a new pop culture overwhelming the 3T poison of cynical and noisy Xer rock-- the left-over detritus of the last epidemic, begun by the beetles. Rats are higher on the evolutionary ladder than beetles, even; although they spread more "diseases." Infectious indeed; bieber fever is very contagious. Many young people have caught this "plague," and it may destroy not a few misconceptions about what "music" is supposed to be, as conceived in the hopeless minds and bodies of cynical 3T Xer noise-rock fans (I exaggerate just a little, for effect ). Ratt music may even eventually replace rap music, even though it makes use of it.

"You've got Bieber Fever, is what you have!"

Oh btw, I guess it's no wonder that I as a Meece would like cute ratts and get infected by bieber fever-- and try to spread the plague.

The above is the default action file It's also well commented so I can use it as a templente for my user.action file. Sort of like when Google
decided to advertise their phone on their search engine main page. That's pretty much like having billboards in Yellowstone park. I replaced
the phone image with a bland default privoxy image which displays pretty much nothing

1. You are expressing an opinion above, which is fine and dandy, but it's still just 1 datapoint. Now back to this thread, you are exhorting folks towards certain genres of music, while I've decided to exhort the virtues of an internet experience with no ads and cookies (except for sites like fourthturning.com where I need to allow cookies so I can log in.

2. So, I'm also stating an opinion that one's internet experience and reduced chance of say identity fraud is enhanced via privoxy. You know, like I no longer have to waste time and bandwidth with youtube commercials. I get right to the content off the bat.

"You have Ratt Fever, is what you have!"

Sugary stuff, regardless of source, causes blood sugar spikes/crashes. The spike feels good, but the resultant crash , not so.

Fixed. Actually, it's just me fixing posts that I make at 5:00 AM. At work, we're on the football schedule. Press time in 10:30 Saturday night for the Sunday paper.
Posting while tired is bound to cause a few problems here and there.

It may depend on the body and its condition. The spike from Pray and Good Time etc. still feels good; no crash for me yet. But you and other Xer rock fans must have musical diabetes.

You hate meeces and ratts to pieces, but they don't ever seem to go away. Never Say Never!!

No , 3rd turning music is more like some soothing berberine. It's a bitter alkaloid, but it's good for the system. I do not know if you are into the New Age woo-woo of use of herbals, but I am. Xer? Try Joneser. For it is exactly from astrology that the concept of cusps originates. Even Neil Howe has come around to that.

You didn't get the cartoon. Mr. Jinks hates meeces to pieces.

You need to look up Captain Planet about the ratts. And you need to look up Wheeler, now there's your typical Xer. The other 4 planeteers are other Xer's.

You're right about that, of course. But your musical tastes definitely include the Xer part. 3rd turning music is poison. It is not healing at all. I know, just my opinion.

You didn't get the cartoon. Mr. Jinks hates meeces to pieces.
Not in that one. He wanted them back! The meeces never seem to get caught or go away. Neither will the new ratts. Of course I know Jinx hates meeces to pieces. I grew up with it in my face. But I like cats too.

"Gaia" spirit of the Earth? Herbal medicine? Shaman? Sounds boomer to me. And more like ratt music than Xer poison. And those rat monsters are quite different from the sweet young millies making such nice, swingin' music! Baby baby baby oooh!

Yes. Though the operative word is , include. As a friendly reminder, I certainly like 2T music, say like Montrose. For example I like Rain by The Cult. Stupid vBullelitin on allows 1 video now. Both invoke pleasant memories. Montrose reminds me of counting paper route money and yakking on the CB.
Rain reminds me of being in the computer lab at college programming my homework. That was Sony Walkman days. So far, the 4T just sucks. Nothing really pleasant so far.

Yes, so Mr. Jinx wouldn't be deprived of playing "bumblee bee". IOW, Mr. Jinx missed some of his kitty play toys. But yeah, Mr. Jinix is well known by saying "I hates meeces to pieces."

"Gaia" spirit of the Earth? Herbal medicine? Shaman? Sounds boomer to me. "
Yup, and you tack on bell bottoms, been bag chairs, CB's as social media back then, and mood rings. I'm perfectly find in admitting I did all of that stuff. As far has shamans, I might actually have some ancestral shamans on dad's side. Like Herbal Tee and POC, I also have Cherokee blood. Dad's side is big into herbal remedies. Grandma gave me sassafras tea for something as a kid. I don't recall what it was for though. There's also willow bark tea. I found out about Oregon grape myself. I intend on planting some of those bushes. Yummy berries and berberine. Herb has been researched and has anti diabetic, anti inflammatory , and anti MRSA actions. If the health care system keeps going like it is now, I might have to take up shamanism to treat myself. And most of the modern drugs use oil as an input, so if the oil supply gets screwed up, then those would get more expensive as well. It's nice to have a plan B.
And more like ratt music than Xer poison. And those rat monsters are quite different from the sweet young millies making such nice, swingin' music! Baby baby baby oooh!
Naww, Verminous Skumm and his rat legions are the perfect metaphor for Millie music poisoning youtube with video viruses.

The Montrose piece doesn't impress me too much, but it's better than what came later in the 3T, with shouting instead of singing and even less rhythm and melody. Meanwhile, I am thankful for millie syrupy sweet music like JB's; now that is true healing herbal musical medicine!! Meanwhile, your herbal pursuits are fine and dandy too.

I love ratts and cats! Keep the Poison away from them!

Well, more ratt worship at the JB temple!

the fact that justin bieber would take the effort to make a song like this has changed my opinion about him drastically.

As passionate a performance as Roger Daltry or Roy Orbison, and what's the passion directed to? Compassion. Such a great song; best in a generation; a true miracle in every way.

Yes, indeed bumblee133, Ratt is where the action's at. Oh, just noticed. "bumblee133". Hey! Are you Pixie or Dixie from cartoon fame by any chance?

Yes, and AC/DC is also quite transcendent.

If anyone is still reading this thread and wants to listen to some REAL music to make you want to move your butt and get up and shake around in dancing (or do what I do and do a crude approximation of what is referred to as "dancing") here you go:

Yeah, I've been on a really, really big Tony Joe White kick lately. The man makes me literally want to get up and MOVE.

Dancing? Actually, I think it would make some bluesy nice background music in a poker room. Said song put me more into a contemplative mood. Just right for poker.

Here is the best dance tune around today (with the possible exception of Good Time, but that's on the other thread). Thanks JB!

Seriously, he's come a long way since those first songs like One Time.
Puberty has treated him kindly.

Thanks Rags for the insight that Pray is actually a 4T song (along with perhaps these other less-inspiring sounds you posted).

Sometimes I wonder, when and if I finally put together my own cover of this song, that I will be able to sing it without crying.

Eric, "kane" appears to be a spammer. I won't even risk clicking "kane's" link.
