I think I can return to not caring about him. Made my point.

Keith Richards is not impressed.

Well, all this stuff certainly gives all the Bieber haters lots of ammunition!

Well, he should know better..........

On the incident that bothers Rags, things don't add up. It was reported that he and his Dad were smoking pot on his private jet and would not heed a "flight attendant" to stop (flight attendant on a private jet?.. what?), but here

http://www.fuse.tv/2014/02/justin-bi...es-in-egg-bust

it says this:

Also, late yesterday, the pop star's plane was detained and searched by drug-sniffing dogs at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey when U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said they detected the odor, CNN reports. Bieber was interviewed for several hours before being cleared to enter the United States after they concluded that no drugs or illegal substances were found.

I'm not sure what's going on.

It looks like he has 4 different cases that could lead to charges, plus a deportation petition on the White House website.

Michelle Obama advises Justin's Mom to keep him close:

Remember I wrote this about his horoscope:

Pluto in Scorpio rising speaks for itself as a symbol of enormous personal power and energy. Few entertainers work harder and longer. Saturn, Mars and Mercury all form potent squares to Pluto as well, confirming this indication, as well as signalling some tendency to be brash or "brattish" and to get involved in fights and violence, for which he should be on guard. Sun conjunct Saturn shows obstacles overcome, especially the problem of an absent father, about which he wrote one of his first songs.

http://www.fourthturning.com/forum/s...586#post463586

I remember when I was about his age, Saturn passed into my 12th house (prison, retreats, etc.), and I spent a night in jail; so far my only one (not having engaged in civil disobedience, which might have earned me some respect from Deb). I was drugged out. Saturn passing through the Bieb's 12th house now, along with Neptune in his sign, both of which (Neptune and Pisces) are 12th house rulers, could indicate his current troubles. There are other indicators too (like stationary Mars on his Moon). When Saturn enters his first house next year, it would be an opportunity to organize and discipline himself better.

I can see you've spent a lot of time analyzing this.
...when the definition [of "young and trendy"] is changed to something else, say "Homie", then "Millennial" ... becomes something to describe middle aged old farts who are too fat to fit into their hipster skinny jeans ... and refuse to wear anything that isn't argyle. The same thing happened to the Glorious Generation fops, by the 1720s they were no longer seen as "young, witty, and with it" but as aging witless father figures. -- Chas88

He's a Pisces. This is the sign of fish. Thusly, anyone can sort this out.

Just as Justin Bieber seems to be in the midst of a superstar meltdown, so is his waxwork figure at Madame Tussauds, according to the New York Post.

The Bieber likeness on display at Tussauds New York on West 42nd Street has been groped, fondled and grabbed by so many excited fans that exhibit organizers have had to withdraw his dummy from display.

One source said of the Bieber figure, which was installed in his younger, more innocent days, “With no ropes or barriers to stop them, thousands of fans have had their photographs taken with him since then — but it has taken its toll.”

Madame Tussauds New York says the figure has been damaged over the years, and despite regular maintenance, “it no longer does justice either to the star or to the attraction,” and so it has reluctantly decided to remove it.

Madame Tussauds general manager, Bret Pidgeon, acknowledged, “This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new ‘grown-up’ Justin back to the attraction in the near future.”

Justin Bieber lyrics, thus far in the singer’s career, are definitely meant to speak to his young and largely female fanbase. His music is filled with easy to remember A-B-A-B rhyme schemes and phrases that make the Beliebers shriek, since they sound like something he could would sing to them.

But we’ve gotta hand it to him. Justin Bieber does manage to sneak some clever turns of phrase in his lyrics, elevating them beyond standard issue teen idol “stuff.” Plus, how many artists use the word “fondue” in their lyrics? He get’s an A+ for having the guts to do so.

The Biebs is still in the beginning of his career, but he’s still dropped plenty of memorable lyrical declarations, celebrating her smile; vocalizing his desire to be her boyfriend; expressing concern about the world’s problems; and denying that he impregnated someone! He even muses about his recently ended relationship with Selena Gomez. Oh, and he never says never.

Songs are therapy for the Biebs and they are there as the conduit which connects him and Beliebers. In celebration of his word swag (swag, swag), check out our list of the Top 10 Justin Bieber Lyrics.

Why settle for a likeness or simulacra when the real thing is a dummy ?

Stupid museum people. A practical Taurus solution to this problem is to build said statue from BULLshit!
That shall preclude fondling and groping and leave the statue in pristine contidtion.

A dedication!

I hereby dedicate the video from my favorite 4T band to JB

The way JB's acting, I think the 2 bands should do a world tour together.

Airbourne makes no bones about being badass party animals.

Authenticity rocks!.

I totally predicted the superstar meltdown years ago, it seems inevitable now. The kid could have gracefully faded away like the Jonas brothers or something, but instead he appears to be taking the Miley Cyrus, Lindsey Lohan route. Best of luck to him, I just don't see this as a good path to go down. Being a rich and famous celebrity is a tough job!

Still makin' good stuff in the midst of troubles, temper and dorky behavior.....

http://youtu.be/zu2CpteD7Jk

http://youtu.be/RUqQUUxHfNY (guest rap has an f word tho) sounds very innovative to me, this one; no-one does anything like this I don't think....

It's remarkable, unbeliebable, that he the Biebs makes a greater number of good songs than anyone since the mid-70s at least, and a greater proportion of good songs to not-so-good than perhaps, anyone........????

I feel like giving him advice or ideas on how to deal with his s**t, but he'd probably just say f**k you.......

I'm glad the plane didn't crash....

Not a bad song, despite the ridiculous singing, the song structure and guitar work does come through; maybe this stuff might get better in the 4T? Learn to sing tho! Maybe JB can give them some singing lessons!

So far JB wants to be a black hip-hopper rather than a metal rocker, but you never know; he's still only 19; I hope he doesn't waste his life with his antics.

I could see JB going in the opposite direction from MJ.... white to black, instead of black to white.....

Your fellow expressive INTP....

What Dylan song was the above line from? I am not too familiar with JB, but do any of you feel that he could be this era's equivalent of what Elvis was in his time? I asked this on another thread as well.

Well, I think my point in this thread is to offer the chance for people to listen to his music, and comment on it; or not to listen and comment on it. Most people here besides me only do the latter. Most people here are not even willing to listen; or if they do, I think their prejudice prevents them from really hearing it. So take a listen; most of his songs are posted.

As I said umteem times, I took a listen with an open mind, not expecting to like his music; but I did, which surprised the hell out of me. It's been an interesting adventure.

He was the Elvis of his time for a couple of years, but whether he can continue after his current problems, I don't know. But he is still putting out good songs; something that Elvis rarely did.

In general though, pop music and media is more diverse now, and millies don't focus on one or two stars as they did in Elvis' day. So JB has many competitors for the title of Elvis of his time. And there are many more girl pop stars, who in fact seem to predominate (which also means there are fewer guy pop stars to compete with JB as male stars at least).

The record company exec who hired Bieber did compare him to Elvis, even before his full popularity emerged.

Some of his latest songs are downright psycho-active. Lots of rich sounds in his palette. It sounds almost like the sunshine psych pop of the late sixties. Good to relax and trip out by.

Sometimes however, his singing may not appeal to skeptics; the bad boy doesn't always come across as well as the good boy did. He's always been a young "soul singer" imitating Michael Jackson, but this is more overt now. But to my ears, it's still mostly good. And you can't claim he has a voice that is too high now. It's a lot lower than Jackson's ever was.
