Yeah, don't forget the second wavers, especially us 1990 cohorts

Although I am a self-identified NFer, I am not an INFJ. Of the several times I've taken the test, I've consistently been scored as an ENFP (with varying percentages of course) I wouldn't count on seeing too many INFJs though. They are, after all, said to account for only 1% of the population, males even less so.

IMNSHO, that's why we're here. I've never seen so many INTPs engaged in a single activity in my entire life. If you add the rest of the NT spectrum, it's huge.
Marx: Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

Well, a lot of us score high on the Asperger's type, so not all of us are NT.

(This is a play on words, where among Aspies, the World is divided into two Types: those on the Autistic spectrum, and those who are "Neurotypical" or NT. I reject that dichotomy; the very term "spectrum" implies that there isn't a bright red line dividing those "on the spectrum" and those "off", and thus, there isn't really such a thing as a "neurotypical" brain.)

Mom in an INFJ. Yes, she's special.

Yeah I know. It doesn't stop there either. Let's add doorknobs, badge readers, and those lame "ergonomic computer mice". Of course they're curved the wrong way. I threw mine away at work and demanded an old
mouse with no curves.

Rags, it would be interesting if you could also sort it by MB type so you could see the birth years of people who share your MB archetype.

Nice work! But again, just a slight correction, I am an ENFP. I adore INFJs (especially my cool Boomer English teacher), but I'm not the one to be reserved, gentle, or private, as most INFJs often are. I am certainly not much of a dedicated listener either (listening is actually somewhat of a weakness of mine)

Lol @ ergonomic mice. Never saw what was so special about them anyhow.

But tell me about...Do you know how long it took me to use the can-opener, as a child? Picture yourself, eight yr. old, home by yourself with no lunch, and struggling to open a can of ravioli! Oh, the misery of it all!

For someone who has had three NT brothers, I have come to stereotype them as Geeks...the people you would encounter at Chess tournaments or worse, comic book fairs!

Does anyone know of S&H's types? My guess is that they would be NTs as well...

Thanks for the correction. I edited my post.

My best friend is an ENFP, a fellow '62er. He's always talking about something at the poker table to whoever will listen. I'm real quiet, since I'm observing how everyone plays. Something like, the player in seat number 2 plays lots of hands, the player in seat number 7 plays few hands, etc.

But tell me about...Do you know how long it took me to use the can-opener, as a child? Picture yourself, eight yr. old, home by yourself with no lunch, and struggling to open a can of ravioli! Oh, the misery of it all!
I got lucky on that one. Dad is left handed , which of course helps on how to use assorted tools. On the can opener and other things he'd say, "now use the right hand to use it". He also mentioned the "righty-tighty, lefty-loosey" rule for other gotchas like screws and light bulbs.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow. Hopefully there's not too much stuff piled up at work. I stayed home today due to this horrid hay fever bout. INTP's are lazy, so I'll have to write a script to parse things right. I can't use spaces since some folks have those in their addies. It looks like the best bet is to parse the last 4 or 9 last characters, (look for a "/"), do a sort and spit out
the file with a script.

ENFP here.

Also an Enneagram Six, and I swear I have both wings, even though that's not supposed to be possible.

Oh, and chalk me up as a Virgin Monkey on the combined Western/Chinese horoscopes. It explains a lot.

I had the same transformation. I tested as an INTJ back in 1991 and then in 2000, tested as ISTJ. I haven't gone through the test since, but it might be a good idea.

I think I know why. That old Third Function - Si in my case - kicking in in midlife.
How to spot a shill, by John Michael Greer: "What you watch for is (a) a brand new commenter who (b) has nothing to say about the topic under discussion but (c) trots out a smoothly written opinion piece that (d) hits all the standard talking points currently being used by a specific political or corporate interest, while (e) avoiding any other points anyone else has made on that subject."

Does not compute

I got parsed right off the list.
Marx: Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.
Lennon: You either get tired fighting for peace, or you die.
