Web sites for Boomers

Web sites for Boomers

Aren't we all sick and tired of hearing how everything on the 'net is
targeted at kids?

Well, there are some sites for Boomers, including the following:

If anyone is aware of other Boomer sites, post them to this thread.

Sincerely,

John

MBTI step II type : Expressive INTP

There's an annual contest at Bond University, Australia, calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term:
The winning student wrote:

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end."

Wink Neither

I'm cringing at the websites. Sorry, I realized I should have posted more but I was watching "24" :-)
Those websites remind me of a cyber version of LARGE PRINT Reader's Digest ! Can we say.... Lowbrow....
The Eons website looks like a dating site, note to anyone over the age of 20. Keep your shirt on in your picture. No one wants to see that ! Did you notice how many people don't even know how to post a picture ?
The Boomer Girl site wasn't as bad, but would not keep me coming back.
Seriously, if Reader's Digest, Good Housekeeping, USA Today and their ilk are your reading materials, good for you, go to those websites. I'll be on MySpace.
But then, I have more intergenerational friends

Everyone should be aware that Janet is the author of the extremely
provocative "Baby Boomer Blog" at
http://janetdcohen.blogs.com/babyboomerblog/

Her latest topic is "Why Chicks Don't Dig the Singularity." Check it
out.

Sincerely,

John
