True enough. A lot of the traffic is curiosity. The tale will be told in the next month or so. By then, we'll have some preliminary numbers of buyers, and how fast the number is growing. Here are my predictions of how this will play overall:
  • All the negative commentary from the TP and others will hold the number signing to about 75% of those required to buy.
  • Next year, that will be closer to 95%. The difference will be due almost entirely to the penalities, which don't take effect until tax time.
  • By the third year, the stable participation rate will be achieved at roughly 97% of required participants, nationwide.

First of all, morons, the line is a quote from the Washington Post and that is how I presented it; look it up.

Second, only you, Justin, Coop and other idiots would take the statement "people were trying to see if they could get insurance" as being a statement that "every hit on a new, high-profile website represents a would-be customer."

Funny, since of the two of us, for sure I'm not the one whose voting led to what you've shown.

Hard to tell here whether you're speaking from simple ignorance, or if this is more of your standard lying.

You might want to do your own search of your fawning all over Rand - you got some posts to delete!

Between your sucking up to him and Putin, it's actually surprising you find time to do your "sniff, you big liar, Playwrite, sniff, sniff" routine.

Liar.

The "Search" function is publicly accessible (that magnifying glass icon up in the upper right gets you to it). An archive search on my posts featuring the word "Rand" turns up exactly one hit. This one. And the hit is for the word "random"... not the politician's name.
And additional search on my posts featuring "Paul" returns simply "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.".

So yeah. More lies from playwrite. Easily shown for who he is and what they are. For someone who lies so much and so regularly, it's a surprise you don't do a better job of it. I guess that might speak more to your contempt for your audience, though, than to any lack of skill on your part.

Indeed it is a lie, similar to the one that you also pushed here:

And of course identical to the one being pushed by your fellow low paid whores (don't worry though bud, no one does it better than you!)

As has been shown, while some of the traffic is generated by people looking to get coverage the implication that heavy traffic on the web site is due to a "huge demand for Obamacare coverage" is a flat out lie.

We could also talk about government officials delivering totally fabricated numbers to the press. Totally predictable behavior of course. It is the custom of the government's paid liars is to lie ERRRRRRRR misspeak about data up front until such time as they can quietly and surreptitiously revise the data downward to more accurate levels.

For instance, I noticed you whores seem particularly focused on reporting the (alleged) web site traffic statistics instead of the data for people actually purchasing insurance through the exchanges. Why is that? (I mean why, other than you just following your orders)

I've read some accounts of people signing up for health insurance and some that have ended up calling to get assistance when the website failed d/t their system being overwhelmed. I'm troubled to understand what exact figures from which authority critics and cynics of these reports will actually believe.

Am brand new to this site (one hr. old!) and just bcc'd the Wendell Potter website and article: "Shopping Smart in the New Marketplace" to most on my email
list. Thank you. I live in a tea party county in a freshly cloned alabama style tea party state. So many poison pills... Can't fault the average person for fearful

What I can't understand is why there haven't been a whole series of "million hu-man" marches in DC and all state capitals.
Are we so invested individually in not rocking a plainly leaking boat that we are cowed-reduced to whining cowards
especially after that Wisconsin debacle... Not a question really, as the situation is fairly obvious in my view.
Our hands aren't tied-but they are obviously full-a pistol in one and a whopper in the other. By my reading of The 4T
we entered "winter" around '05-'06. Which puts us already 7-8 yrs into it? I heard a reporter last Monday note that
we wind up teetering on these superprecipices "about every 80 years"(!). Since Mr. Strauss' passing, scientists have
delivered their final either/or message re global warming, there has been a blubber epidemic, the extreme vulnerability
of my beloved internet sirens have gone off, and now a pending economic catastrophe. Those zombie shows/movies
are a near perfect metaphor.

First, tell us how you know that millions of people going to the website means that they were NOT "trying to see if they could get insurance through Obamacare." Go ahead, this should be fun.

Oh, and when you failed miserably at that, please tell us how I got the Washington Post to lie for me.

What a moron.

This is your basic point. Somehow you know that 4 million plus have gone to the web site for something other than the obvious "trying to see if they could get insurance through Obamacare."

Let's just archive this and look back a year from now. If more than 4 million people sign up through the Obamacare websites, then you were wrong; if not, then I was wrong.

Whoever was wrong will first apologize to the other on this forum and then disappear from this forum for at least a year.

Yea, and your mommy wears army boots. What are you, 10 years old?

Next, I guess I'm going to put you in the fetal position.

Again, tell us, IT genius, how do you know those 4 million unique visitors were NOT "trying to see if they could get insurance through Obamacare"??? I mean most non-IT geniuses would assume most people going to an insurance exchange website would be looking to see about, you know, insurance. So what is it you know or did that would disabuse us of that assumption - did you hack into the site and run a secret program, and if you did, how did that program ascertain the purpose of each the site visitor - have you guys got a program now that reads minds - is the word "insurance" now some secret word for really weird porn that 4 million people are all into; if so, how do you know about it and I don't?

It seems the ball is in your court to disprove the assumption that just about every newspaper in the country is basing their reporting upon. Go ahead, tell us, oh all-seeing IT guy.

Or, are you spending time on how to wiggle out of the big bet? You might want to PM Justin a few times for some slimy pointers.

So, you believe your worship of the Randian nightmare and the accompanying sucking-up to its more visible adherents is limited to only where the name is mentioned explicitly. Oh, you clever slimy you!

Okay, then tell us of your own viewpoint of Ayn Rand and her 'philosophy' and Rand Paul's practice of those tenets.

I want to see how far you are willing to go to hold onto the defensive mechanism of lashing out at me for presenting the facts that destroy your world view. I got Rani in writing to reveal she's a faux nihilist, using it only when convenient; let's see if we can reveal the inner Justin as well.

Those words, "temperate and moderate", are words either of political cowardice, or of cunning, or seduction. A thing, moderately good, is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper, is always a virtue; but moderation in principle, is a species of vice.
