The polls have completely disregarded Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode. Virginia is in play for Obama. But according to 538, the polls are swinging wildly towards Romney.

VA is certainly in play, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see Romney win it by 5 points.

I'm calling it now. Someone can gloat if it proves to be wrong, but I'm calling it now:

Ryan as an Xer will make the War Baby Biden look like an old Silent who's out of touch and past his expiration date.

Maybe the war needs a breather, a war can even break its neck, so to speak. But the kings and emperors, not to mention the pope, will always come to its help in adversity. ON the whole, I'd say this war has very little to worry about, it'll live to a ripe old age."

Non-partisan polls have on the whole showed President Obama tied or ahead almost the whole electoral season... and Virginia will be tough for Romney to win.

Action image of a microbial shape-shifter. I am surprised that Mitt Romney hasn't been compared to an amoeba. Whatever is convenient for the moment...

Joe is giving Ryan a new ***hole. Ryan looks stressed.

Not exciting, but he makes the Administration's point effectively.

Oo! I'd love to. Does the Green Party candidate have a commentary as well? Might as well hear ALL sides.

So far Joe Biden is the aggressor -- and he has numbers on his side. Paul Ryan is supposed to be the numbers guy.

Biden channeling Loyd Bentson: "Now you're Jack Kennedy???"

That's gonna leave a mark!

I doubt many people are watching the VP debate, and doubt it will have much impact, but Biden is coming across as desperate, overcompensating for Obama's bad debate. The guy always looks like an old, loud-mouthed moron and a phony, but this is worse than usual. Way too angry and aggressive. Not going to help Obama at all. Ryan is winning by simply looking reasonable.

I'm tuning out on this last portion of the debate... because the moderator went all Boomer and decided to rekindle the dying sparks of the Culture wars and get "personal" with the VP candidates. I want to hear the issues, not their personal stories.

The Right are already getting their marching orders, whining about Biden being a "bully". What crybabies.

Yeah the culture war fluff really did sound post seasonal.

It's been for the most part of free wheelin' 90 plus minutes.

I enjoyed it.

I think the post debate commentary I'm hearing is mostly right. To the extent that it has any effect on the election (doubtful, although we'll see how many people watched), it will be overwhelmingly negative for Obama/Biden, particularly among women. Joe Biden is the id of the Democratic Party, in all its ugly splendor. What it portrays is a desperate administration that is losing its grip. Although Biden is always like that. They should have replaced him when they had the chance. I admit I didn't watch all of it, because I couldn't stand to hear Biden talk.

You like Ryan are just not very believeable when you're trying to spin.

I think that Biden showed the puppy the old school tonight.

I thought Biden did much better than Obama's performance. Ryan was able to score points as well. the problem with Biden is that his demeanor has diminished what could have been a strong performance.
